How can we help?

Getting started
Installing DealersGO
DealersGO is a dealership subscription; installing the extension is the first step and your activation key (from your manager) unlocks it. Open the DealersGO page on the Chrome Web Store and click Add to Chrome, then Add extension. Click the puzzle-piece icon next to Chrome's address bar and pin DealersGO so its icon is always visible. Clicking the icon opens the panel on the right side of the browser. Chrome keeps the extension updated automatically.
Activating with your key
Your manager creates a key for you on the dealer dashboard (it starts with al_). Paste it on the panel's welcome screen, add your name, phone and the dealership ZIP code, and press Activate. Your inventory loads within a few seconds. The name and phone go at the bottom of every listing you post; the ZIP sets the listing location on Facebook.
Posting your first car
- Make sure you are signed in to Facebook in the same Chrome. The panel shows a badge if you are not.
- Find a vehicle on the Inventory tab and press Post (or press Post N now for a batch).
- A Facebook tab opens and fills itself in: photos, price, mileage, colours, description. Keep that tab visible until it says Published.
- The car moves to the Posted tab with a link to the listing.
Which vehicles show up in the panel?
Whatever is on your dealership website (or your feed / CSV, if your dealership uses one). It refreshes every hour. Sold vehicles drop off automatically and new arrivals appear with a badge. Use Refresh inventory in the panel's More menu (the three dots at the top) to pull it right now.
Posting to Facebook
What "Daily" does
Post N now queues the next N unposted vehicles (you pick N in Settings under Posting, from 1 to 15). They post one after another, a few minutes apart, so Facebook sees a normal pace. You can also set a scheduled Daily time so the batch runs on its own on the days you choose. The daily goal bar at the top of Inventory tracks your progress and resets at midnight.
Missing details: "Fill in the blanks"
Facebook rejects listings without a price, mileage, colour, body style or photos. If a vehicle is missing any of these, DealersGO shows a short form before posting, with the car's photos and known details so you can fill the blanks correctly. Your answers are saved to the vehicle, so you only do it once, and they survive inventory refreshes. Edit on any vehicle shows the finished post exactly as Facebook will show it, and everything on it can be changed there: photos (order, crop, background, restore), the title fields, price and details, and the description.
Review before publishing
By default DealersGO presses Publish for you. If you'd rather check each listing first, turn off Publish automatically in Settings under Posting. The form is then filled in and left on the review step; press Publish yourself and DealersGO notices when it goes live.
Posting to Facebook Groups
On the Groups tab press Import from Facebook to pull in the groups you belong to, tick the ones you sell in, then switch the platform selector (top of Inventory) to Groups. Each post goes to the selected groups; Settings under Posting lets you rotate through a few groups per vehicle instead of all of them.
Posting to Marketplace covers your groups too: on Facebook's review step there is a List in more places section, and DealersGO ticks the groups you chose on the Groups tab before publishing (Settings, Posting, Also list in my groups, on by default). Facebook only offers groups that allow Marketplace listings there, so a group you ticked may not appear; the Activity log says which ones were included.
Renewing, re-posting after a price change, and deleting
On the Posted tab: Renew re-posts a listing that is getting old so it rises again; Repost appears when the website price dropped and posts it again with a price-drop banner; Delete on Facebook appears when a car has left inventory and removes the listing for you. When a car leaves inventory the panel also asks whether it sold through Facebook, which feeds the dealership's reports.
Hiding a vehicle from posting
Open the three-dot menu on the vehicle card and choose Hide from posting. Hidden vehicles are skipped by Daily and by Post selected. Unhide from the same menu.
Buyer messages & leads
Turning on buyer messages
Settings, Messages, Read buyer messages. DealersGO then checks your Marketplace inbox in the background (about every 30 minutes, only while you are using the computer and never between 9 pm and 7 am; it only opens conversations Facebook marks unread) and shows each conversation under the vehicle it belongs to on the Posted tab. Nothing is ever sent without you pressing Send.
The DealersGO bar in Messenger
When you open a Marketplace conversation on Facebook, a small bar appears above the message box with two or three replies that fit where the conversation is (still available, price, photos, setting up a visit, a follow-up when you spoke last), and your quick replies. Click one and it is typed into the box for you to edit; you press Send. The close button hides it for that conversation; turn it off for good under Settings, Messages, Reply suggestions in Messenger.
Does DealersGO ever reply on its own?
No. It reads the inbox and can suggest a reply, but nothing is sent until you press Send. Suggestions come from the same inventory the listing was posted from, so a sold car reads as sold and the price is the listing price; they never negotiate.
Replying: quick replies
Open a conversation and choose a quick reply (edit the list in Settings under Messages). Edit it, delete it, or press Send. Your name and phone are filled into the templates automatically.
Leads, notes and status
Every buyer who messages becomes a lead on the Leads tab with their name and any phone or email they shared. Set a status (new, contacted, appointment, sold, lost), add notes, and export to CSV. Owners see the same leads on the dealer dashboard, with how long each one has waited for a reply.
Photos & descriptions
Choosing and ordering photos
Click a vehicle's photo to open the picker. Click photos to include or exclude them, use the arrows to reorder, and Select all (first 20) or Unselect all. Facebook allows 20 photos; the first one is the cover. Reset puts everything back to the website's originals.
Cropping and backgrounds
In the listing editor, Crop crops a photo (Facebook shows listings at 4:3, which is the default). Backdrop cuts the vehicle out and places it in a dealership scene (sunset storefront, glass showroom, front lot) or one of your own lot photos (owners upload those on the dashboard), matched to the scene's light with a shadow and reflection. Undo restores the original at any time.
The description template
Descriptions are built from a template in Settings under Posting (title, price, condition and mileage, colours, engine, MPG, body). Anything in square brackets is dropped automatically when the vehicle doesn't have that detail. Edit on any vehicle shows the finished post; change the description there and press Save to post exactly that text for that vehicle only.
Dealer dashboard (owners and managers)
Signing in and adding salespeople
Go to https://app.dealersgo.com/dashboard and sign in with your email and password (you set it from the link in your welcome email; use Forgot password? if you never did). Owners and managers can add more logins under Settings, Dashboard logins: Managers run the team and settings, View only logins can only look (managers can add view-only logins; only the owner adds managers). Every login also gets an extension key with the same role, so the same person can use the dashboard and the Chrome extension. To move a salesperson up, press Promote next to their key: they keep the key and gain the dashboard. Making someone the owner asks for your password. Under Settings, Team access, Create key for each salesperson and use Copy invite to send them a ready-made text with the Chrome Web Store link and their key. Revoke a key when someone leaves; their history stays.
Periods, comparisons and the pages
The picker at the top (Today, This week, This month, This year, All time, Custom) sets the period for every number on every page, with change vs the previous period. Team shows everyone with a status (Active, At risk, Inactive) and opens each person's numbers. The other pages are Leaderboard, Activity, Leads, Inventory (with a quality score per vehicle), Needs attention (cars still listed after leaving stock, price changes) and Problems.
Goals, alerts and the weekly digest
Posting goals in Settings sets default daily/weekly targets plus a personal target per salesperson. Lead alerts email (and optionally text) a salesperson when a buyer's message sits unanswered, with a copy to you if you like. The weekly digest arrives Monday morning with last week's numbers, the leaderboard and who went quiet. Enter each salesperson's email and mobile in the goals table.
Reports for the sales meeting
On Overview, Copy for Sheets puts a formatted report on your clipboard that pastes straight into a Sheet or Excel as cells (title band, sections, green/red change column). Download CSV and Print are there too, and every table has Export CSV.
Several stores
If your stores share one website feed and one dashboard, that's one subscription. A separate subscription is only needed when you want a separate website feed tracked or a stand-alone dashboard for a store. Details on the pricing page.
Troubleshooting
"Not signed in to Facebook"
DealersGO posts through your own Facebook login, so open facebook.com in the same Chrome profile and sign in. Posting and message checks pause automatically while you are signed out and resume when you are back.
A post failed. Where do I see why?
The Queue tab shows failed jobs with the step it failed on (for example "Price: field not found") and a Retry button; the Activity log (clock icon at the top) keeps the history. Failures are also reported to the dealer dashboard's Problems page so your manager can see them. Common causes: signed out of Facebook, the vehicle was missing details, or Facebook changed its form (we update quickly when that happens).
The Facebook tab typed the wrong thing or stopped
Don't click inside the Facebook tab while DealersGO is filling it in; it needs the fields it is typing into. If a listing is half filled, close that tab, press Retry on the Queue tab, and let it run. If it keeps failing on the same field, send us the vehicle and the error text from the Activity log.
Updates
Chrome updates DealersGO on its own, usually within a few hours of a release. The panel shows the version in Settings; if it says a newer one is available, restarting Chrome picks it up right away.
Resetting the extension
Settings, Advanced, Reset DealersGO wipes everything stored on that computer (activation, settings, inventory, queue, leads) and returns to the welcome screen. It asks you to type your name to confirm and cannot be undone. Nothing is removed from the dealer dashboard.
Is my Facebook account safe?
DealersGO fills in Facebook's ordinary listing form in your own browser at a human pace, posts one vehicle at a time with a gap between them, pauses when you are signed out, and never uses Facebook's API or private endpoints. It doesn't have your Facebook password and can't act while Chrome is closed.
Nothing matched. Try another word, or send us a message below.
Contact support
A real person replies by email, usually the same business day. Include the vehicle and the exact error text if it's about a post.
